Hillstone's Last Dance MX, MXJ
"Summer"
This tricolor daughter of our own Tiffany achieved her AKC Novice Jumpers title on October 19, 2003, shortly after her 3rd birthday. Summer and her owner/handler Reg Shaffer accomplished this feat after only 4 attempts! Summer and Reg continued to improve as a team as Summer then achieved her OAJ title on May 29, 2004, and went on to earn her NA title, and then her OA title.
UPDATE!
Summer achieved her MX (Master Agility Standard) Title last year on May
29, 2006. and her MXJ (Master Agility Jumpers) Title this year on November
18, 2007.
Each of these titles requires 10 qualifications and in order to qualify you
must complete the courses without error within time set by the yardage of the
course and the 3.75 yps speed calculation set for
"excellent" level dogs.
Summer is owned by Reg and Rickey Shaffer of Pleasanton, California, who are
very proud of her for completing the task -- as are we!!!
